Note 2: If you are planning on using HID devices on Mac OSX 10.5 (Leopard), then you must use OSX version 10.5.6 or up. HID devices include Rane mixers such as the Rane Sixty-Eight or TTM 57SL and some 3rd party controllers such as the Pioneer CDJ-400, CDJ-900, or CDJ-2000 CD players.

ENHANCED STRIP SEARCH
Numark introduced Strip Search virtual needle drop technology to the DJ world with NS7. NS6 takes this one step further by adding position indicators that allow you to always know track position, giving one less reason to need to look at the screen. Bi-Color LEDs also surround each wheel, providing both an indication of the Deck in control and also a Deck’s playback status. Effects can be instantly accessed by channel.

New features have been added including direct access to beat grid controls and beat skip, which allows you to juggle the track inline with the beat so that it never loses sync.

NS6 includes a professional 24-bit audio interface to guarantee pristine audio quality from the computer. A full array of inputs and outputs are present, including XLR outputs, Headphone out, two mic inputs, two phono inputs, four line-level inputs, and USB to connect the system to a Mac or PC.

NS6 comes with Serato’s ITCH DJ software and tightly integrates with ITCH thanks to close collaboration between Serato and Numark. The Vestax QFO LE is a turntable with mixer functions built into the same unit for speedy access to everything you need. The QFO LE turntable was designed with DJ Q.Bert, QFO LE is a less-expensive version of the QFO with a phono input to connect it to another tuntable, without 2-band EQ per channel, and with an A.S.T.S tonearm instead of the dynamic balance tonearm, which means you can play the LE at up to a 40-degree angle, but not at any angle. So, if you're not planning on wearing the QFO, you can save big bucks with the QFO LE.

Mixdeck has two sets of stereo, switchable line/phono inputs for external sources. The replaceable crossfader has switchable slope and reverse so you can alter its performance based on your preferences.

Full mic controls are at your fingertips thanks to Mixdeck’s 6.3mm mic input with its own gain and ±15dB high and low EQ. There’s also a complete cueing section with dual 6.3mm and 3.5mm headphone outputs, dedicated cue gain and mini-crossfader control. Pitch Power

Mixdeck contains a set of pitch and beat tools that will help you with harmonic mixing and beat matching. Start playing a track and the system automatically analyzes the BPM (tempo), and displays it on screen. There is also a tap tempo button for manual BPM entry. You can alter the track’s BPM by ±6, 12, 25, and 100% using the pitch fader. For each of those ranges, you can engage Key Lock, which holds the pitch (key) of the track while you independently manipulate its BPM. There’s also a set of pitch-bend buttons on each track for quick alterations.

Real Time Remixing

Mixdeck gives you a complete range of remixing tools for the creative DJ, including seamless looping, sampling, and easily accessible hot cues. Numark’s familiar Bleep/Reverse gives you the ability to keep time moving forward while you cut or reverse the track.

You can play tracks from discs in single-track, continuous, and programmable playback modes to best suit your style of playing. Fader Start enables the system to start playing the track you have cued up when you move the crossfader for effortless transitions. You can also use Fader Start with compatible CD players connected to the inputs.
