The Pioneer SEPC1 Professional Software Entertainment Controller is a dual MP3 music controller which allows the user to manage and control playback of audio files stored on a PC. It emulates the full-scale DJ performance of the CDJ series operability without the need of a mouse or keyboard.

Control Pioneer’s DJ software (DJS) and Other PC Applications - The SEPC1 includes Pioneers DJS all-in-one DJ software application for playback from a Windows based computer (PC not included). When connected to DJS, no mouse or keyboard is required for navigation and DJ performance. Furthermore, the SEPC1 supports control of other software, such as SERATO Scratch LIVE, without need of the control discs. The SEPC1 is also a full MIDI controller for any MIDI-compatible PC application.

4.3-Inch Color LCD & Intelligent Graphical User Interface - In addition to the high-visibility 4.3-inch color LCD panel, an intelligent graphic user interface and rotary selector enables rapid track search through large collections of digital audio. A play list function also speeds the track selection process for recalling frequently played songs.

Auto Mix Function - An Auto Mix function automatically mixes playback of the tracks registered on the play list in four modes such as ECHO or ZIP. Audio is seamlessly beat matched and mixed on the fly.

Industry’s first Area-Color Organic Electroluminescence - Two high-visibility Area-Color OEL displays give the SEP-C1 outstanding visibility for the pitch, playback time and position information. Together with its main 4.3-inch color LCD, the OEL display ensures smooth DJ play regardless of lighting conditions.

DJS Effects Enhance DJ Performance - Eight effects within Pioneer DJS (Delay, Echo, Auto Pan, Auto Trance, Auto Filter, Flanger, Reverb and Pitch Shifter) add versatility to mixing performances. The effects can be synchronized with the music tempo (BPM) at the click of a button.

The Pioneer CDJ-400 allows DJs to play their MP3 collection off CD-R/RW discs as well as music from mass storage USB devices, such as USB keys, external hard drives and portable media devices. The deck also features the world’s first Scratch Jog Effects, with three creative scratch effects and an amazing new Loop Divide function. Virtually all of the button and slider functions can send MIDI data via USB output, making it possible for the decks to control DJ software and other applications, such as Pioneer DJS or Serato Scratch LIVE on a PC or MAC.

Digital media playback
The Pioneer CDJ 400 handles CD Audio and MP3 files from CD, while USB connectivity lets DJs draw upon sound libraries on external storage device. Through the new push-selection Rotary Scroll Wheel and Back Button, users can navigate files and folders as simply and quickly as on many of the leading portable media players available today.

MIDI control via USB
With Pioneer’s finger firmly on the pulse of digital DJ developments, it is only natural that the CDJ-400 can control DJ and music application software. This is achieved by simply selecting the PC Source Select button, so that virtually all of the deck’s buttons and slider can send MIDI control data via the PC USB connection. So when MIDI is the message, the CDJ400 definitely delivers. For example, a DJ can connect the CDJ400 to a PC or MAC and play and manipulate files from their favourite DJ application software – such as Pioneer DJS or Serato Scratch LIVE – and this doesn’t even require a time-code disc to be used in the deck.

New illuminated Jog Wheel With a design inspired by the club standard CDJ-1000 Jog Wheel comes the CDJ400’s 115mm illuminated platter. You can choose from six different patterns of Jog Wheel illumination and even personalise your own CDJ ‘slip mats’ or jog sheets [6].

New Scratch Jog Effects
In addition to the Digital Jog Break Effects (JET, WAH and ROLL) found in CDJ Mode, Pioneer serves up the world’s first Scratch Jog Effects, BUBBLE, TRANS and WAH, in vinyl mode. BUBBLE simulates a scratch technique and is great for spin backs, while TRANS is like rhythmically transforming with a mixer’s cross fader and WAH resembles the guitar Wah pedal.

New Beat Loop Divide Can you dance to this b-b-beat? Making the magic of live mash-up even more manageable, the funky new Beat Loop Divide facility rhythmically dices loops to fashion beats with drama, intrigue or whatever your desired effect. It is easily adjustable using its (- and +) buttons during loop playback, thereby creating loops with mind-melting, dancefloor-destroying twists.

Hot Loop and Beat Loop
Besides the Beat Loop Divide, the CDJ400 lets DJs create flawless four-beat Beat Loops and Hot Loops. For the latter hit the Hot Loop (In/Out point) buttons during a loop to retrigger the loop. Up to 10 Cue/Loop points per disc, for up to 920 discs, can be stored in memory and transferred by usb key between CDJ-400s.

The Pioneer MEP7000 is a compact, easy-to-transport Professional Multi-Entertainment Player inheriting the basic functions and operability of the popular Pioneer CDJ series turntables. In addition to playback of conventional music from CD/CD-ROM/DVD-ROM discs, the MEP7000 enable users to play MP3/AAC files stored on various memory media formats. The system also enables DJs to easily create and set up pre-programmed play lists for gigs or background music.

Flexible Audio Format Playback - As well as playback of traditional audio compact discs, the MEP-7000 supports MP3/AAC/WAV/AIFF stored in a USB memory devices, hard disc drive (HDD) and CD-R/RW and DVD±R/RW allowing for easy playback of existing music libraries and new digital downloads.
